Research Science

Rigorous behavioral and organizational research, designed to make decisions easier, not harder.

Research ScienceA radar source moves perpetually left and right across the header. Concentric rings emanate from it. Beneath it, a hidden sine wave of dots is revealed wherever the radar passes — dots near the radar's center are bright, dots far away are very dim.

Applied behavioral and organizational research.

As a research scientist with a PhD in Organizational Psychology, I design and run studies that translate cleanly into operational decisions. The aim is always the same: rigorous methods, plain conclusions, actionable next steps.

Areas of focus

  • Workplace behavior, motivation, and performance
  • Survey design, measurement, and psychometrics
  • Field experiments and quasi-experimental evaluation
  • Mixed-methods research (qualitative + quantitative)
  • Research translation: from journal to boardroom

Recent work

  • SciRec pre-employment assessments: researched and synthesized the underlying theory, then built and validated eight new cognitive and behavioral assessments from the ground up.
  • Unethical-behavior speak-up research: designed and deployed a study at a large corporation to uncover the factors that drive employees to report, or stay silent about, unethical behavior. Findings meaningfully advanced the client's understanding of what drives speak-up behavior inside their organization.
